FAQs

How is That Good Good Shea different from other brands?

Our unrefined shea butter is made in Northern Ghana, where the shea nuts are carefully handpicked and processed using traditional methods. At That Good Good Shea, we use Grade A certified shea butter that is filtered for impurities before being placed in its final packaging.

Is it organic?

The karité tree grows wild in Ghana. The shea butter is processed without the use of chemicals and there are no genetically modified ingredients used. The result is 100% natural, unrefined shea butter. Although shea butter can be called organic, it has not been certified. Most of the organic shea on the market goes through a deodorizing and refinement process. The color looks almost white and does not have the nutty scent of pure unrefined shea butter. When you use refined, processed shea butter, incredible benefits to the skin are no longer available.
